Over the years, friends of the NRBN have helped support the Fayette County Education Fund through all of our antics! These are some ideas we've come up with (we're still laughing about the 2014 shave-a-thon); pick your favorite, and go in on your own or with a friend. Disclaimer: by no means do these options spare you from our antics ;)

The Wet & Wild
Scheduled at your convenience (not available May 1-7, 2017).
Share the spirit of adventure and curiosity with school children through a "School Days" patronage with the Fayette County Education Fund. Every $500 School Days donation goes entirely to wetlands education programming for our local schools at the Wolf Creek Park Wetlands Boardwalk. Patrons will be identified on print material presented to participating school groups, and notified of programming dates so they may attend and be treated to lunch with the staff!
Open to everyone, birds banded during the week of the Festival are now available for adoption! Banding occurs on Monday's Birding by Butt and Friday's Wolf Creek Walk. For $50 adoption fee you will receive a Certificate of Adoption with a full color photograph of your bird (if you're with us when your bird is banded it will be a photo of you with your bird), your birds band number, and alerts when your bird is recaptured or collected. Adoptions make unique gifts too! Funds raised through adoption go toward environmental education programs through the Fayette County Education Fund. More information is coming!
